Where Are We?
Who Are We?
My name is Jody, my husband is Andrew ( a hard working Bricklayer), we have two daughters, Shannon and Yazzmine.
We have 3 cat's called Zoe,Chloe and Roxy. We have our long time friend Ajay the loyal chocolate Labrador retriever who is the sweetest, kindest natured girlfriend that you could ever meet, she is our mother to anything orphaned or needing love..
We farm 100 sheep who keep us busy in July and August of every year having there wooly bouncy lambs. We have Annie the goat who was our first baby on our farm, she basically run's the household and left to her own devices she would sit on the couch and watch television with the children I am sure, but most of the time she gets into my garden and reeks havoc!!
About Me ( Jody)
I am the animal lady to anyone that knows me , or the lady that can help you if you need your horse holding, or your Ewe lambing, the one that gets called on by my neighbors for help... You see I am a farmer's daughter and I have always been around animals, you could say I have a passion for anything on four leg's.
I have ridden horse's most of my life and competed successfully in most disciplines, both here in New Zealand and in England, I also have many years veterinary nursing involvement, (prior to children that is), and I am a hands on practical person, who thrives on helping others.
I have always been involved with breeding dog's for as long as I can remember and my passion was shifted to labradoodles when I decided to breed my first litter some 6 years ago. The babies that were born from that mating were a delight in every way, they were quick to learn, people focused and they had the intelligence of the poodle and yet the laid back attitude of the Labrador, they were simply lot's of fun!
So from then on I dedicated my breeding programme to develop a new Kiwi Pride line of Labradoodle. I have introduced some lovely Australian Labradoodles that we imported in from Australia and we are also running a second programme totally dedicated to the safe keeping of the Australian Labradoodle by only using blood lines originating from the renowned Rutland Manor and Tegan Park Research and Breeding Centers, the founders of the breed.
I am also delighted to say that I am the first labradoodle breeder in New Zealand to become an Accredited breeder with the Accredited Australian Labradoodle Breeders Organization. I am also the first New Zealand breeder to be fully endorsed by the Founder Breeders for the Australian Labradoodles standing for Service/Assistance Dogs.
So I think you can tell I take my Labradoodle friends very seriously and do what I can to protect them and promote them with my up most integrity.

So Why The Name " Kiwi Pride"?
The "kiwi" is New Zealands national icon and part of our image worldwide. New Zealander's have been "kiwi's" since the day's of the first world war.
It's a nickname bestowed by fellow "AUSTRALIAN" soldiers and it has stuck. Today our identity as "kiwi's" is based around our national bird.
We are breeding
"Australian Labradoodle's" ,
but you can be rest assured that we will be doing it with "KIWI PRIDE"
