Every endeavor is taken to insure Kiwi Pride has done what we can to insure the health of our adult doodle's prior to breeding, therefore minimizing the likely hood of health problem's in there puppies.
Kiwi Pride will always place the health and temperament above all else and we will not breed with any of our dogs unless we are completely happy that the temperament is %150 sound and that all health testing has been completed and to a level suitable for producing only healthy puppies. Females are over 12 months of age and are only bred from for 1 to 4 litters and then re-homed, enabling them to have a family of there very own.
Kiwi Pride x-ray's parent dogs for hip and elbow dysplasia , sending all x-rays to Australia for assessment and scoring, plus we DNA profile our parents and test them for Retinol Atrophy and to date our kennel is CLEAR A, with none affected or carrying the disease. ( A blindness disease known to the Labrador and Miniature Poodle)
Pet puppies are de-sexed prior to being adopted, as well as microchipping for identification purposes and health certificate. Early de-sexing has been carried out since 2002 with incredible results. Kiwi Pride takes the breeding of dogs very seriously and will not promote unwanted puppies through bad breeding practices.
We come veterinary indorsed and recommended as our vet fully supports our very thorough careful approach to our labradoodle breeding program.
We pride ourselves in offering a help line for questions from Kiwi Pride for the life of your labradoodle.
