Kiwi Pride Australian Labradoodles was first established in 2002, since then we have worked very hard to develop a breeding program based on integrity and breeding excellence. The true Australian Labradoodle is not simply a Poodle x Labrador, it is a purpose bred dog that we and other dedicated breeders have developed over many generations to create a genetically sound and wonderfully natured dog that can be used for service and therapy work, as well as been very fun loving loyal family pets.
The Australian Labradoodle has taken the world by storm and has become very popular worldwide because of its non- shedding coat and allergy friendly attributes, along with its wonderful intelligent easily trained family friendly nature, varying coat colors and different sizes.
It is so very important that breeders like ourselves take care in what we do to protect the breed from been bred into a corner and to keep the attributes and health sound and true to its breed standard as was set by the founders in the late 80's. We have carefully developed new kiwi pride lines to add to the gene pool to keep the genetics strong and to help keep the gene pool diverse.
Kiwi Pride Australian Labradoodles is based on a very beautiful family run farm were our dogs get to enjoy a outdoor lifestyle and the clean green fresh air that New Zealand has to offer.
We strongly adhere to the health testing of all our dogs in our breeding program and are veterinary recommended because of our commitment to only breed healthy dogs.
We believe it is a privilege to breed not a right so we only breed to waiting lists and will not breed females should the demand not warrant it..

Oh boy it's May!!
The terrific summer we all enjoyed is now well behind us with allot of rain rain and more rain! Good weather for ducks but not much else!
With this in mind all our doods are having some mixed days in and out doors around floods, down pores and puddles! The lab in them certainly enjoying the rain but the poodle in them glad to be tucked up warm when it matters!
With winter we wind down a little and have a few litters scattered over the colder months and crank up again when spring arrives.
We are looking forward to receiving back our latest batch of young men and ladies x-ray results from Australia soon and are looking forward to some new lines arriving later in the year.
We still have just a couple of puppies from our March litters available so do check out our available page for details as they are simply darlings and ever so ready for there forever homes to find them!

I thought that I would drop you a quick line about Miss Spice.
She has settled really well into our family life, on so many levels. You told us that she was a lovely dog, and you described her perfectly. She is like a shadow (in a good way) She adores company, and so we have found her to be a wonderful fit for our family. She comes in to work with me every day, and is very tolerant of the 90 kids per day that stream through my office, and when she has had enough, she settles herself on a pet bed at my feet under the desk. She is very well behaved on the lead, and in the last few days ( I am a nervous owner) we have taken her to a couple of different beaches far away from the main traffic so she could have a real run and explore off-lead. I am thrilled to say that she is so beautifully behaved that she comes racing back to my side when she is called. She is fantastic and gentle with my 3 kids, who all adore her.
We adore Miss Spice she is relaxed and settled into our family, and doing well. I know I dont need to tell you about her as you know her so well anyway, but she is just the most calm, wonderfully natured dog that we have ever owned.
We really can't thank you enough for our beautiful new family member!!!
